With this loss by WVU, the best the Big East can hope for is 4 of their 11 entries making it to the Sweet 16, partially due to 4 Big East teams facing each other this weekend. But there is no doubt the Big East is by far the best basketball conference in the nation.

Start him on Diebler I would think- move him to whoever is facilitating on the perimeter if need be- Lighty or Buford.

I don't believe OSU plays as physically tough as WVU although they are clearly more skilled. The OSU-UK matchup could really be entertaining if the teams play fluid basketball and get up and down. You don't see many game in the 80's any more much less the 90's. I would love to see one like that. This would give KY their best chance, I believe. Of course, all of this is predicated on OSU advancing.

Jones did play better today, was more active on the boards.

Knight was unbelievable today, maybe his best overall game as a Wildcat.

Harrelleson was his usual.....hard work, hits the boards, plays good defense down low and scores/picks up the junk baskets. By far my favorite player on this team.

Sully and Lauderdale are very physical in the paint, but they are more finesse on the perimeter. Craft is a physical defender that knows Knight pretty well from AAU events over the years...

Bad matchup for UK all around w/ OSU.

 

Nice win for the Cats, and especially the 2nd half execution--both offensively and defensively. And for as great as Knight was, I have to again tip my hat to Jorts. The guy has been HUGE for UK in the post-season. Whoodathunkit?

Impressive 2nd half for UK. Knew WVU was in trouble after scoring 41 in the 1st. Horrible final 20 was inevitable...

That they can't score? Without question. If they get over 70 you are in trouble, they just don't get there all that often. Said to a buddy when they had 41 at half that it would end up being 2/3 of their offense for the game. Pretty close...
