March 19, 201115 yr Big win today. Knight with an awesome comeback game. Jorts is Mr. Hustle. Jones stepped up and gave much improved effort. Gotta get Lamb and Miller back to form. Liggins is Defense, period. Some said Sweet 16 would be max for this team and some said it would be a successful season if they did. Heck, It was probably me too.
March 19, 201115 yr Sully and Lauderdale are very physical in the paint, but they are more finesse on the perimeter. Craft is a physical defender that knows Knight pretty well from AAU events over the years... GT who would you take in a hypothetical UK-OSU matchup this upcoming week?
March 20, 201115 yr First instinct would be OSU in a close game, but I really think Liggins could be the X factor that took UK to victory. His ability to lock down the hot hand on the perimeter can potentially make them stall on O and allow a collapse on Sully. His D has been game changing for a few weeks now, so hard not to think it will play a major role in the outcome. I'd go with the experience of OSU pulling it out in the final minute off the top of my head...

March 20, 201115 yr With this loss by WVU, the best the Big East can hope for is 4 of their 11 entries making it to the Sweet 16, partially due to 4 Big East teams facing each other this weekend. But there is no doubt the Big East is by far the best basketball conference in the nation. Glad they keep proving your point. :sssh:

March 20, 201115 yr Loved the tenacity that the Cats showed today. Our team goes as our defense goes and they played really well in the 2nd half. I'll be glad to never see Mazzula again, very frustrating player to play against. He is smart and craft and one of the biggest floppers in basketball history.
