Found it interesting in the article and it is very apparent in the article that you do NOT miss spring practice at Highlands. Contact drills, putting in new offensive and defensive schemes, etc...............................

Hang in there UK No:1 Fan there are a lot of teams not playing Highlands, when you say things like we will beat them by 80, thats why know one will play them.

You think, it looks like JB has his work cut out for him

Does this discourage the kids from participating in track and baseball? Or do the coaches accept the fact that football takes precedent over their sports during these two weeks?

Not much of a spring practice if it rains and snows everyday. While SK practices indoors and gets better!

Why didn't SK prove their powerhouse status and schedule a game with a real powerhouse like say Trinity?

They need to get better. They are no better then second best in their district and their district is less then stellar.

I hear that SK's indoor facilities are fantastic, and it is great that the school has such a facility. But, to think that the ability to control the climate determines how sucessful the practice can be is a weak argument.

I don't know what SK does during their indoor practice, but I am familiar with what Highlands does, and as others have posted in this thread, it is an extremely well-planned and executed series of practices to accomplish some pre-determined goals.

As far as weather goes, this year's so far has been better than last year, when practice was about two weeks earlier, and the field was surrounded by piles of snow.

NO one will play them because of what a fan on a message board says? Wow, didn't know it was that easy to intimidate you guys.

86 players he projects to be on his 2011 roster

Wow, that's a big roster for the Bluebirds.

According to their roster last year they return 24 Seniors, 31 Juniors and I guess the rest will be 28 Sophomores?
