October 17, 201015 yr My son and I were two of the thousands that rushed the field. Absolutely an incredible atmosphere. For all you guys who feel bad about criticizing Hartline, don't feel like you are the Lone Ranger, everybody in the section I sit in was on his back the whole game. I guess I found out just how stupid some people are.
October 17, 201015 yr Why was it bad coaching at the end? The plan for South Carolina was simple. They had 11 seconds and they were on the 20 yard line. Anything other than a shot at the end zone was pointless in that situation. I'm certain the plan after the timeout was to take that shot and then kick the FG if it didn't work. There was nothing wrong with the coaching, but it was a terrible decision by Garcia to throw that ball. He just dropped a couple of steps and flung it...I don't think he bothered to see what kind of coverage was down the field. Great win for the Wildcats. South Carolina was the game I most wanted to win this season, so I'm happy. I think it was definately very bad coaching, and arrogance. The time out was the worst, severely limiting what they could do in those 11 seconds. While throwing the ball deep there might get them a win, a sack, interception, or completion short of at TD loses it for them.
October 17, 201015 yr What a game. My brother came in from work and he wanted to leave when he saw the score of the game. I told him we should just wait around for a little bit to see if UK could make it a game. I'm sorry Mike Hartline and UK coaches I was wrong. Hartline is the guy that should be under center for UK. He looked like Andre Woodson tonight. Everyone was so down on the UK offensive playcalling style but tonight we saw how effective Joker's offense is with an experienced QB. I just hope Moss or Newton get the system quicker than MH did. Beating Spurrier is awesome. He cried on the sideline the entire 2nd half. Chris Matthews is a beast, I wish this guy would have been hear all 4 years. Randall Cobb is the heart and soul of UK football, I will hate to see him go whenever he takes his game to the pros. And the defense was much improved in the 2nd half. It's still not great, or even very good but they made some nice plays in the 2nd half. Agree completely. I have been one of the biggest Hartline haters around but he has definitely proven me wrong.

If I ever see Hartline in Lexington I'm going to buy him $100 bucks worth of Miller Lite or whatever he likes. UK needs to end all their streaks and I think the 10 game one against SC makes the most sense to go first. Now it's time to take down those pesky Vols.

He thinks he is invincible against them, I loved the look on his face after the int. and he was getting no support from his staff at that point. Scary thing is if the int isnt made they still have time to line up for the fg.

What a clown.

We don't need any NCAA violations! haha. What a great recovery for the defense and Coach Brown as well. It looked like he came and out blitzed early because that is what people had been calling for...that obviously didn't work. The defense made good adjustments, and Cobb is arguably the greatest competitor to put the UK jersey on. Awesome win!!

If the catch isn't intercepted they still had around 3 or 4 seconds left to kick a FG. He didn't respect and expect, UK's defense to pull off the int.
