But that's the response the first time around, before districts. Most of the others are after that.

Thanks BLATZ for showing this. 2 observations: 1) Teams are running away from Highlands. 2) Scott County didn't sign..........

Middlesboro got the short end of the stick in this alignment. They have very long long trips in the district and have very good teams at the end of their journey waiting to play them. I can see them moving up.

I don't think that anyone will move up.IMO

Dear Mr. Tackett

Please make Highlands play in Ohio!!!!!

Thank you,

4-A football teams

PS. I see BLUE BIRDS!!!! That is scary.

Edmonson County's response is very interesting and compelling.

I was told that KHSAA claims there are over 4,000 new football player participates since going to 6 classes with 4 teams from each district making the playoffs. That would be about 18 or so players added per team with around 220 teams. Is that in print anywhere? What do you think of the claim? How many more kids will join football due to the new class/district realignment if increasing participate numbers are a goal?

I do not understand why in our district of Central Hardin, Nelson County, and Meade County, we would pick up a Lexington school ( Paul Dumbar) to be in our District. It seems that they could have put one or two of the Louisville schools with us and saved a lot of ride time for all the teams.

I kept hearing that Southern or PRP would join D2.

Edmonson County's response is very interesting and compelling.

Seriously, someone does need to look into the Edmonson County situation. They have very valid concerns.

I don't see it here in EKY, but maybe other places.

Manual's response = game, set, match.

there is absolutely no way that there are 4000 new football players since going to 6 classes. An average increase of approximately 15 players per team would be huge!

I think whoever wrote Manual's response looked at my maps.
