Initial set of responses from schools to realignment posted

there is absolutely no way that there are 4000 new football players since going to 6 classes. An average increase of approximately 15 players per team would be huge!

I was told that if you say 'lets go back to 4 classes' this will be KHSAA's response. This is supposedly the objective reason given to the BOC and others for why 6 classes and 4 teams per district playoffs are good.

Beginning to question the BOC's motives. Many of the reps are big football folks. Someone may want to look into that.............

Then someone should inform the KHSAA that they are missing a chance to give a shot in the arm to soccer, baseball, volleyball, basketball, etc. If it worked so well for football, why discriminate.

Numbers probably also increased due to new schools.............

There's been a handful of consolidations during that time, which makes for fewer roster spots.

is it any wonder that Male and Manual had the best responses? I give them both an A+!
