Man, what the heck is going on out those ways. This is really turned into a bizarre thread. Sorta making NKY football sound sorta thuggy with all the negative comments on here. I highly doubt that half of this stuff even took place. Seems that some are just making a big deal out of alot of nothing. Cmon guys!!!!!

Ryle fans did not start the personal attacks. Just defending our kids. It's an intense rivalry. Not much more to talk about in the game. Both teams would say they could have played better but both teams gave 110%. We won. SK lost. Game could have gone either way. That's sports.

I can't get over how awful that series of coaching was by SK.

I really feel sorry for our young student athletes in today's world. When I was a kid (a long time ago), and someone wanted to post inaccurate or untrue information they usually wrote something on a wall or started a stupid rumor.

But in today's silly world, these young kids get to read the stupidity of disgruntled parents over the internet. That's where our society has slipped to! All because of a game!

I can now see where a few of the student athletes, now at SK learned what they posted on Travis's facebook and the distasteful texts that were sent throughout the week. It was an interesting week to say the least!

You see its not the 3500 yds or 45 tds that makes me proud! But the way a 14,15,and now 16 year old kid handles the stupidity of adults that do not know how to lose!

I think Neerfan needs to direct some of those people to the 1981 state championship trophy at SK. Those guys all had character. Learn sportsmanship.

Don't know, but if this is his second trip to the principals office, it may be awhile til we see him back in class.:idunno:

Someones upset that they lost. Awh thats so sad. Travis can do what he wants, after all he deserves it after all the trash talk directed towards Ryle. In my opinion I am going to guess this never even happened. Hammer just doesn't know how to take a loss without making excuses and blah blah blah.

Agreed. There were some VERY offensive things said by SK players during the game to a couple of Ryle players. Same stuff happened when your son was playing.

 

And the ref called a 15 yard penalty on Elliot when he tackled Lawrence why....... Come on let's not be naive.

I'm not naive..... atleast I don't think :lol:. But the refs were awful. How does it take more than a few seconds to call any play, they looked like they were waiting for the replay to make it official, just bad.

 

I wasn't at the game, but some of those guys do college games........

Back to the game. After 2 days I still can't remember watching a better high school game. I hope Ryle dosn't think if face SK again this season it will be easy. I still remember 2 years ago when Boone County KILLED SK in week 7 of the season. And 6 weeks later SK beating Boone in the 3rd round of the playoffs. Good Luck to both teams the rest of the season.

I find it amusing that a SK fans are upset that a kid was running his mouth at a McDonalds. After all of the jaw flappin we've endured all summer long. Funny stuff. I knew a loss would not be taken well out on rt. 17, but wow!
