July 29, 201016 yr Ochocinco just posted a picture of him and T.O. on facebook and most likely twitter.
July 30, 201016 yr So I am sure you will agree that the Ravens over the last decade have had one of the best defenses in the NFL. Carson Palmer as a starter against the mighty ravens defense is 8 and 3. Not bad for a QB who has always just been average to you. The Bengals have always played well against the Ravens for whatever reason. I have never said they have not, in fact I picked them to beat the Ravens for the division crown.

The for whatever reason you said is Palmer. Since he has been the starter, they have basically owned the Ravens. Before he took over as starter, the Ravens won the majority of the time. So its pretty clear that reason is Palmer.

Let's not even compare the talent the Bengals have had 2004 on to what they had before that. Last years squad looks like the mid-90s Cowboys compared to what was there for most of the 90s and early 2000s.

Last years squad looks like the mid-90s Cowboys compared to what was there for most of the 90s and early 2000s. So let me get this straight. You like to say the reason why Palmer use to be considered a top 5 QB was because of the talent he had around him. Yet you never seem to want to mention one of the reasons why he had struggled since is because he does not have as much talent. You can't take that away from him because he had talent, and then use like last year to prove that he is just average and not mention it probably had a lot to do because of not much talent. All of the top QB's in the league have talent around them, that is one of the things it takes to be a top QB.

I think everyone who had him as a top 5 QB was out of their minds and being way too pre-mature with it. The past few years have done nothing but reassure that belief with me. Talent or no talent around him.
July 30, 201016 yr This offense will be a nightmare, IMO, for defenses to prepare for. Cover 2 we have Gesham (when we sign him) to run the seem. No one can guard The Bengals man up. Put eight in the box, they beat you over the top. Drop people back they gouge defenses with the run. Pending on no ridiculous drama this year, this team can be scary good. Call me crazy but, Bengals fans will be laughing when they win the division AGAIN..

Talent or no talent around him. The thing is you can only really say he has had one year where he didn't do to great since his first year playing. In 2007 he threw for over 4000 yards and 26 touchdowns. While having Chris Henry suspended for 8 games, and Rudi Johnson only running for 500 yards because he hit that runningback wall and was washed all of a sudden. 2008 only played 3 games. So last year was first year where he did struggle some. However even with him not at his best, with not much talent. He got them to the playoffs, and had 4 or 5 4th quarter game winning drives. He was at his best when it mattered most. Just an average QB usually fades in that situation, definitely does not do it 4 times in a season. Yes we can't consider him as a top 5 QB right now, but at the end of the year I think people will be able to say that again.

No single Bengals WR is a matchup problem for an elite CB. I do agree that Gresham is a nightmare. I think he could end up as their most consistent offensive weapon if they use him right.
July 30, 201016 yr Someone may have mentioned it but Bryant is letting TO have 81. He had TO donate money to a youth football organization in Florida in exchange for the #.

July 30, 201016 yr Heck, lets just hope TO is better than the previously most-hyped #81. Anyone? I'll throw a guess out....how about David Verser??
