July 31, 201016 yr Roy "I can't cover a pass as well as most JFL DBs" Williams? He is decent in run coverage. That's why I didn't mention him because he isn't very good.

July 31, 201016 yr Top 5 without Odom and Peko being hurt some throughout the season. The Bengals will easily be on of the top 3-5 defenses again this year. :thumb: I think the D is very good and has a chance to be better overall. I just doubt the numbers will add up to them being in the top 5. The Saints and Colts are better on offense than anyone they saw last year.

The Texans, Packers, Steelers and Vikings were all ranked higher than the Colts in total offense in '09.

I'll take their O over the Steelers every day of the week and twice on Sunday's. No matter what the Bengals play better teams this year than they did last year.

August 1, 201016 yr Honestly I'd rather face the Steelers over the Colts any day of the week but the stats do show the Bengals played some very productive offensive units in '09. I just hope the pass rush is better in '10.

August 2, 201016 yr A healthy Odom will help that more than you can imagine I hope so, he was very good prior to the injury, the five sacks against GB were awesome but that was against a 2nd and 3rd string Olineman. I've heard rave reviews about Johnson, should be interesting to see how he fares at OLB.
November 17, 201015 yr I think it's safe to say that the Bengals season is officially a train wreck. Not that it was predictable or anything.
November 17, 201015 yr I think it's safe to say that the Bengals season is officially a train wreck. Not that it was predictable or anything. They obviously haven't won like everyone expect but I don't think it's been a train wreck really.
November 17, 201015 yr I think it's safe to say that the Bengals season is officially a train wreck. Not that it was predictable or anything. None of which have the slightest to do with TO.
November 17, 201015 yr None of which have the slightest to do with TO. I believe that it does. Not to put a lot of blame on him, but his hands aren't clean in this. He has missed numerous plays due to lack of hustle/fear of contact. He hasn't done 8 minute abs in his driveway yet, but he hasn't been balls to the wall on the field. That long pass against Indy would have been a huge completion. His lack of effort on the TD pass against Pittsburgh, that thankfully was overlooked due to the pass interference call. He has dropped a bunch of passes that would have gone for first downs.
