July 29, 201016 yr The offenses are about as even as can be. Defense is where the Bengals have the advantage IMO, especially the secondary.
July 29, 201016 yr You didn't post them. You constantly refer to them. Who's HOF worthy, who's not. yada, yada. The numbers in this instance bear out that the Ravens are still a top 5 defense. Huh? When other than this thread have I referred to those things? I don't mind if you want to try and call me out on something, but at least do the research to make sure you're accurate. Otherwise you look foolish.
July 29, 201016 yr Well things will be put to rest soon enough. Season is approaching very quickly. I'm usually pretty good at predicting players that need to play well and the team's success depend on them. Kind of like an X factor. On the offense I could go with the obvious choice in Palmer. But you could argue it is always on the QB's shoulders. So I will go with Gresham and Shipley. On the defense I am going with the two USC linebackers Rivers and Mauluga. Before the UK basketball season I said Cousins would be the X factor which he played well all season and they as a whole did have a great season. For the Reds I said Bruce, there is still some season left but I was wrong on that one. It's really been Rolen this year. I was expecting Bruce to take a big step this year tho which just didn't happen.

Please, just go back in this thread and see how you've referred to who is hall of fame worthy by their numbers. Good grief, who's foolish? You say the Ravens defense is old, not elite yet the #'s simply don't bode well for your argument. Wow, you really don't see that? Okay.
July 29, 201016 yr T.O. missed the red eye flight last night and will not arrive on time today. He is now questionable for tonight's practice session. First day on the job and dude shows up late.

You say the Ravens defense is old, not elite yet the #'s simply don't bode well for your argument. Wow, you really don't see that? Okay. Actually when 3 of your expected starting secondary are candidates to start the season on the PUP list, I think that means your defense isn't quite elite. Good grief, you don't see that? What part of "other than this thread" do you not understand?
July 29, 201016 yr It's all on Carson now...................it will prove him to be an average qb in the NFL, and the Bengals will draft a QB high in the 2011 draft.
July 29, 201016 yr Didn't the Ravens have two chances to prove they were better than the Bengals last year? I'd say it's a lot closer than some people are making it out to be. The Ravens have the edge b/c of schedule but that's only two games. If the Bengals sweep Baltimore again where does that put them?

July 29, 201016 yr Wow. You really live in your own bubble. Good luck to your Bengals. Haha my Bengals... When did the Bengals become my team?
July 29, 201016 yr Seriously, how is a defense supposed to be elite when 3 of the 4 starters in the secondary are likely to begin the season on the PUP list?
July 29, 201016 yr Not quite the live video feed from Calipari's house & office but...T.O.'s flight in on Delta skytracker. http://www.delta.com/flifo/servlet/DeltaFlifo?airline_code=DL&flight_number=2014&flight_date=Today&request=main&DptText=LAX&ArrText=CVG
July 29, 201016 yr Ravens in '09 -3rd in YPG allowed or Total Defense -5th in rushing YPG allowed -8th in passing defense -18th in sacks -3rd in scoring defense (gave up 16.3 per game) So I am sure you will agree that the Ravens over the last decade have had one of the best defenses in the NFL. Carson Palmer as a starter against the mighty ravens defense is 8 and 3. Not bad for a QB who has always just been average to you.
