July 27, 201016 yr Excellent move! In 4 months when he is helping the Bengals win games, then everyone who disagrees will say that it was the greatest move ever.
July 27, 201016 yr If it doesn't work at least they gave this team a legit shot to make a run IMO. It's now or never this should be the best Bengals team in years. Only problem is they play a difficult schedule.

Only problem is they play a difficult schedule. And they've got enough players with huge amounts of baggage that it could all blow up in their faces. However, I don't think anyone can say that they did not significantly raise the talent level on the team. Its a highly volatile mix of personalities--it'll be entertaining either way.
July 27, 201016 yr It'll be exciting to see what this offense can do. Can Bratkowski come up with sufficient passing schemes to keep Chad, TO, Bryant, and Gresham happy? Can't help but think that for the money they'll spend on Bryant and TO, they could have had Marshall or Boldin. The biggest downside is that Shipley is likely to get lost in the mix. Nonetheless, this is yet another reason to get pumped about the 2010 version of the Bengals.

Whether that be returning kicks, punts, or catching a few passes. He is very versatile and they will find a way to get him the ball.
July 28, 201016 yr So with this signing is there a chance Bryant ends up on the PUP list and sits down for a year to get healthy?
July 28, 201016 yr ^ I was just talking about that with a friend. I have a feeling we will see him on the PUP list.
July 28, 201016 yr Owens and Johnson = cancer. No way this works. Owens is a turd. Another dumb move by a losing organization.
July 28, 201016 yr Author TO will want his catches to get the kick in on the incentives, he says " I love me some me!".
July 28, 201016 yr I love this move. Chad and TO will give Carson a lot of options. They got him on the cheap....I am all for it.
