36 days in 1985 when my appendix reputured (at sea)

 

10 weeks - for ruptured appendix also. I was in the 8th grade.

Overnight is about the longest for me.

3 nights.

Overnight whan I had my tonsils taken out at 4 years old.

10 days to have my gall bladerr and appendix removed in '81 .

6 weeks for me when I was in my early 20's. Kidney failure and on dialysis. All okay now.

20 Hours .. just a month or so ago with an appendectomy.

 

My Dad on the other hand ... spent 4 months ... (liver transplant--but it was everything leading up to that that kept him there for so long. one the transplant happened ... he was out pretty quick).

Personally, 5 days twice for c-sections.

 

With my son, 10 days when he was 8-months old, and 2 consecutive 5-day stays when he broke his hip.

 

 

Forgot a 5 day stint when I was 16 for knee surgery.

16 days for me.

 

32 days for me, I was hit by a car when I was 9 years years old broke my leg so bad it had to be in traction for a month before they put a body cast on me.

I was an 8 month baby (My folks always said that wasn't good) I spent two weeks in a coma when I was 9 months and in the hospital for a month. That was in 1962. I'm sure things have changed since then. 4 years ago I had a minor surgery was spose to go home that evening, it was 4 days later with a catheter for an additional week.

PH was in for 5 months and 5 days. This was in Dayton when he was in the Airforce.

This past Sunday marked ten years without a single night in the hospital. Obviously, I'm hoping to continue the streak; but I've got an issue right now which "could" put the streak in jeapordy. :irked:

A couple of times I've spent a week in the hospital. During one of the stays, a couple of days in intensive care.

Birth, but stayed with Mama for 15 days when she got E-Coli 0757, which is fatal. Question was "time spent in Hospital."
