March 30, 201016 yr The other thread regarding UK fans seems rather one sided, and I should probably point out that I agree with alot of the things being said about the 18%-ers and how obnoxious and downright stubborn they can be. However, the thought came to mind that extreme UK haters can be just as obnoxious and stubborn (Result of Newton's 3rd Law I guess). I'm sure this is something UK fans and non-UK fans can find some agreement on, but I'd just like to see what you all have to say about it. So what is it that irks you most about UK haters? Do you believe the hate is deserved? How much can a person hate a team before it becomes unhealthy? BTW, most of the Duke, UL, UC, UNC, and other general non-UK fans on this board are rather tame in their hatred towards UK, if there's any at all. So this isn't a knock on you guys. BUT, the haters do exist! Unless that's just my 18% paranoia coming out again

March 30, 201016 yr Author I hate when haters act just like the fans of the team they're hatin' on. Hyprocrisy is my main problem with the haters too. I've always felt you can't take someone seriously who argues in that manner.

March 30, 201016 yr This obviously applies to all sports and teams, but if you are not a fan of said team, that automatically makes you unbiased and a beacon of truth for all things related to the team one is hating on.

March 30, 201016 yr If you want a program that's truly hated, look no farther than Duke. UK produces a regional hatred....Duke is hated by people all over the country.
March 30, 201016 yr What irks me about UK haters is that it's like they have to continually pronounce their hatred for the Wildcats. It's not going to change anything if you hate them, nor will it change how UK fans feel. I just don't understand that. I'm not really talking about on here, more all the statuses on facebook all the time lol.

March 30, 201016 yr When they refuse to acknowledge that all teams have their "18%" and that UK's is simply larger due to the amount of fans we have.
