His number though 4 games suggest we could.

122 att

67 comp

55%

5 ints

5 tds

0 yards (not sure why they didn't list his yardage)

In defense of Cashen's numbers, which do not tell the complete story of how he is playing. Corbin is playing with four lineman with no varsity experience coming into this season(Cashen has probably been sacked more than anyone in the state)and rarely has over 3-4 seconds to get rid of the ball. Corbin lost their top three running backs from last year and had no threat of a running game, leading teams to bring everything including the kitchen sink on virtually every down and they also lost 4 of their top 5 receivers from last year's team. Cashen, who suffered a seperated shoulder(throwing shoulder) a week before the regular season started, will start to put up better numbers(he has thrown for approx 900 yards in 5 games under less than ideal conditions) when his line and backs learn to pick up blitzes and pass block better. The line is starting to open holes for the RB's and the backs are improving weekly which will also help the passing game. He is not the best QB in the state, but I don't know of anyone who could have put up numbers much better than his if they were standing in his shoes though.

The mark against Burke would be his comp %. It is not the best in the world. But you are correct about his TD to INT ratio. I just looked at it.

31 TDs

2 INTs

I think Justin Burke has been properly coached to throw the ball away if he doesn't have a play. Therefore, his completion percentage is a bit lower than otherwise, but the Lexington Catholic's offensive efficiency is better. I am very impressed with what Bob Sphire and Justin Burke are able to produce at Lexington Catholic. If they only had a strong defense..............PJS in December?

I am anxious to see him. I have heard nothing but great things with how he has handled the offense at Cov Cath.

Will Fidler-Henderson County.

The kid throws a great ball, and is mobile too! He'll find somethin in every play that the defense lines up in and will see somethin that will be open, and most of the time it is..or if its not, he'll throw a dart and make it something. UK's got somethin good in this kid commin.

Cant leave Cashun out
He Is not even the best QB In Bell County.

He has better numbers than Hoskins and Nelson but that's only because he throws the ball 25 to 30 times a game.

Ian Holbrook from Ashland is the best I have seen in person. Very good arm, excellent running ability, great strength and a fierce competitor. His future is probably not at QB, but he is one heck of a football player.

If your talking Victor Anderson. My son a junior on the team at St.X said he's 100% running and hitting better than ever :walk: :jump:

Olinger is not even the best in EKY IMO, that would be Ian Holbrook from A-town.

Not seen many of the qb's listed play but knowing Ian Holbrook and his leadership and his ability, i have to bring up his name!
