January 27, 201016 yr UK just got out hustled. They quit pounding it inside because when they did, they were successful on offense. But defensively, noone could keep up with Downey. UK is still a top 3-5 team, but they flat out got outplayed.

January 27, 201016 yr I don't know why everyone is going ga ga over Downy tonight. He hit a few crazy shots down the stretch but other than that he didn't have a very good game. I'm not saying he isn't a great player because he is all that and more at times. Not that it's even close to over, but I'd bet last night helped Downy more for POY in the SEC than it did for Wall. Heck Cousins made a lot of noise as well.
January 27, 201016 yr I'm not sure it even really matters if people were or were not impressed by the shots that Downey was hitting. His team won, and that's all that matters. UK had players that couldn't hit wide open layups.
