January 30, 201016 yr Author Where I'm at in Richmond, we have a general 4-5 inches. However, there are big, foot deep drifts. Just took the dogs out and they loved it. The side road that runs outside my apt. is still not plowed, there are however tracks in it that may prove promising later in the day when I have to go out. Still no idea what the bypass looks like, but last night it was in terrible condition. One question. If EKU is closed saturday (per SnoGo) does that mean the All A is also canceled? I doubt that very seriously. They didn't cancel it during the ice storm last year.
January 30, 201016 yr We got about 6 inches of the white stuff in Owsley County. It's not snowing now but it's not going anywhere for a few days because of the low temps. School kids will be happy.

January 31, 201016 yr FWIW, Chris Bailey's latest blog says there could possibly be a storm in store for us bigger than the one we just had sometime later this week. Low pressure system is suppose to move out of the Gulf of Mexico up the east coast. nWo, we might need another thread titled, "This one might be a three loafer!"

With a high around 46 today we could end up with all rain, or again most of the moisture could be pushed south if we do get a burst of cold air. Something to watch over the next few days. Glad I'm buying a new tv tomorrow!!!!
February 3, 201016 yr Not so confident about this next system. It's looking like Virginia and the Carolinas will get hit hard though. As of right now, I'd say we'll only squeek an inch or so out of this next one. However, there is another system supposed to be heading our way next Tuesday or so.
