The one other thing I will never eat is frog legs. It is not because of the taste though. When I was a little boy my mom was cooking some and she didn't cut the tendons. They started flopping around in the pan!! I swore I would never eat those things! :lol:

Thats a great story. I'm not much for eating any organs. Grandpa used to eggs and brains. No way!

Other than that, I'm not particular for the most part about WHAT I eat, but how it's prepared.

Crock-pot squirrel and squirrel burgoo are both fantastic (although I catch some heck for it at my office up in Cincinnati - seeing as I'm a "Kentucky Boy" in a sea of GCL snobs, haha.)

 

:puke:I ate pig brains once in Italy. My husband thought it was some kind of potato salad dish. Surprised to say we are still married.

 

Whenever my family does pig roasts, there are a few of us who do eat the brain...it's actually very good as long as you get it when it's nice and hot right after you pull the pig off of the spit.

 

Anyone eat a cicada (spelling) when they were here? I did.

 

Haha, yeah, my buddy and I both eat a couple...one in "nymphal" stage and one in adult stage. I've had chocolate covered grasshoppers too.

 

 

 

 

Other than that, I've eaten most "parts" of the cow (brain, tongue, heart, liver, "oysters"). I've had goat, elk, bear, bobcat, buffalo, raccoon, rabbit, antelope, alligator, deer, wild hog, ostrich, quail, grouse, woodcock, dove, duck, goose, 3 different kinds of snake, and I'll eat pretty much anything that comes out of the water.

 

I'd like to try horse some time, and I could probably be talked into trying dog. About the only things I wouldn't try are rodents and cats. Do any cultures actually do cats?

Would they spark in your mouth, too?

I love broccoli, but I have never tried nor will I ever try broccoli casserole. It just looks gagatory to me.:puke:

I have many times. However, Bear Grylls eats more disgusting things, in my opinion.

A little pub in Lexington had them on the menu. Not too bad.
