I heard on WYMT that Highland's record against Mountain teams is something like 27-3. Who were the mountain teams that beat Highlands and when?

Pulaski is not a mountain team.

PC is getting ready to go into an atmosphere that is unlike any other I have ever seen in high school football. I'm not sure their first experience into Highlands territory will be a good one. I'm pulling for them, but I just don't see it happening.

And FWIW, the people from Highlands are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Even when they beat the tar out of you! lol!!!

I know the big cannon is gone; what took it's place? I hated that thing! :isurrender:

Since Pulaski has never made it this far before and played a program like Highlands at this point in the season there has been a lot of talk locally about the game and what the Maroons are up against. I guess I'd like to get some things cleared up. With Pulaski being from an area with a much smaller population and much more rigid enrollment boundries the fact that their school has more students than Highlands is negated. The question I have is this: How many of Highlands players actually live in Fort Thomas and how many live in Ohio? I know with the open enrollment everything is legal and stuff, I guess I just wanted to know how a program of Highland's stature draws kids from around the region.

I agree. The real championship game should be HHS vs. St. X.This 6 class system promotes weakness and polutes the playoffs with teams that have no business being there.

Going from everything on here that's been said Pulaski County just needs to stay home Friday as they don't have a chance and need to bow down to King Highlands. I guess it's why they play the game.

That is your opinion perhaps. Certainly Pulaski Co. has an uphill battle on their hands. I don't think there are any Highlands fans that want anybody bowing down to them. But that said I'm sure they do want good competitive games and Johnson Central certainly provided that. Not quite sure if Pulaski has the caliber team that JC had. So come on up here. I'm sure it will be good experience for Pulaski Co.

:laugh:Wow!!!! Are you for real????? I guess when they get beat like a drum this will be their excuse..:deadhorse::deadhorse::deadhorse:

I was on the HHS squad for 4 years and never knew of any players that were'nt from Ft. Thomas.Pulaski will come ready to play football, but if they are expecting to win they are not dealing with reality.HHS starters by 5 TDs.I do not recognize scoring by the losers against HHS reserves.:taz:

I think there are a few that live on Ohio Ave......
I grew up there. Guess that makes me an Ohioan.

I'm sure HHS has to face this question everytime they face a new team in the playoffs that they've never faced before from EKY.

We forgive you.

Right now it's 3:10 in the morning and 9 members are online. Three of them are looking at Highlands threads. Just a simple statistic from a neutral observer.

What was the matter with the other 6? :D

Last Friday night after the Birds scored their 1st TD, a very loud JC fan stood up and yelled, "YOU WOULDN'T BE SO GOOD IF YOU DIDN'T HAVE 50 PLAYERS FROM OHIO."

On a side note, the pirate in your avatar has a tremendous stache.
