I have no doubt that SK is better than last year. I also don't think this St X team is as good as last years Trinity team. I expect it to be closer than last years state final. St X 45-7.

I think SK will score on their first possession, St.X will make adjustments and SK will not see the end zone again until possibly late when game is already decided. I see the score being something like 42-14.

St. X fans are sure looking past everyone though...In comparison to college football to St. X fans X is like mighty USC year in and year out and the game against SK is like USC vs San Jose St in which USC would dominate...But really this game is like USC vs Stanford in which X has more talent and depth and tradition but Stanford comes into there house and knocks off the almighty USC something like 55-21 idk exactly but it happened on saturday...This friday Sk will do the same thing to ST.X because upsets happen especially when the gap in team talent isn't what its made out to be, YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME!!! X is capable of being upset by SK, turnovers etc.., anything can happen. IF it does happen it won't be because X fans were looking past SK and it certainly won't be because the players or coaches were looking past SK. Coach Glaser may have his faults, but easing up, looking past an opponent, whatever you want to call it is NOT one of them. This X team understands that SK is blocking their path to WKU and must be defeated. I fully expect the Tigers will play with great intensity and come away with a victory.

I didn't point you out individually no need to get defensive, I can tell by your user name your a shammy...And there is no need to pull quotes to defend my post as its fairly obvious that there are many posts where it is made to believe this is a David vs Goliath match up because X is too deep and too fast...My point was college football and high school football arent much different and upsets happen especially when their not that major...SK over X is really not much of an upset in terms of this year, in terms of history and traditon yea it is but that doesn't matter this Friday...O and the potatoes are growing really good over here in my home country of Ireland:thumb:

 

 

All I am saying is that you made a claim about X fans looking past SK. I asked for supporting evidence. If you are going to make claims you need to be prepared to back them up.

 

Whether you want to believe it or not, it is a matchup where SK is likely overmatched. St.X will win and the closest that this game is going to be is in the first quarter before St.X gets going. Blowout predictions don't mean anyone is looking past SK, it just means that they believe SK is going into a game against a superior opponent.

SK, ask your Boone County and Ryle buddies what they think. According to the ones I spoke to at each game, they think X is bigger, faster and more prepared than SK or HHS.

I would love to see SK pull off the upset here and will be rooting hard for them. That being said, I don't think it's going to happen. You have to witness St. X's speed firsthand to really appreciate it. And I understand the SK faithful will say they are "fast" also. Well so is Ryle. But we are talking about two different levels of speed and the level that St. X is on is simply remarkable. Nonetheless, best of luck to SK this coming weekend. Maybe a few good breaks happen and this becomes the year the championship comes to NKY!

 

Ryle is no where near as fast as SK. I believe Henry Clay is faster than X. SK has seen speed but have had trouble with it around the edges. I think if SK can stretch plays out instead of give lanes, that they can win the ball game.

Yes he was the offensive RT and starting NG. He was more than a handful for every center this year and often he would draw a double team or double slip to the MLB. This made their blitzes much more effective.

 

I believe Hansel #74 is just as good. He has yet to be blown off the ball.

Back to the game. I have a question for the people from the Ville. How good is Manual??? The game I watched last night, if not for some (almost all) dropped passes Manual should have won. IMO. So I'm thinking if Manual is not a good team how will S.K. be able to hang with X?? I hope this question dosn't upset S.K. fans, just being real.

 

Manual is a very good team. Im pretty sure they lost to X by 7 and had several mistakes on a wet field. If on dry field Manual wins that game. Manual is a tremendous team.

Please tell me who is faster on X's team than on Hc's team. The skill players from HC own the track and field area. X may be more athletic but not faster.
