November 14, 200916 yr I want to thank each of you for your prayers. My mom had surgery on Wednesday on her knee. Simple scope to clean up some cartilage. And this morning she had a pulmonary embolism which caused her to stop breathing and the paramedics had to work on her on the ambulance for several minutes before they even left my parent's house. Frankly, when we arrived with the ambulance we thought she was gone. They got us in the ER waiting room to tell us they were running tests which was our first good news. So, as it stands, she is in critical condition, blood pressure is finally stable and she's on a respirator. The pulmonary Dr. and the Cardiologist think that those issues are okay, however, it's very early to tell if there was any brain damage. Neurologist due in the morning and an EEG. I pray that the results are positive, however, she was without oxygen for a long period of time. Thank you my BGP family for your prayers. I can't tell you how sincerely I appreciate each one and I know that they don't fall on deaf ears. We serve a powerful God who controls it all anyway. Please continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she has a long way to go.
