September 20, 200916 yr I dont know UofL that well so it's hard to judge players but this is one UK fan thats wants to say thanks to the Cards coaching staff for running with #15 so much. Take half of his carries and give them to #20 and it would have been a whole different game.
September 20, 200916 yr Vic has asthma, I don't know if that played a factor, but it was warm yesterday, so I imagine that plays a role in determining his number of touches.
September 20, 200916 yr Author Go look at my posts in the prediction thread then come talk to me. I was one of the very few who said this game will be very close. Thank me very little. You said that UofL had no chance, and that the game wouldn't be close. You were wrong. How can you argue that? :idunno:
September 20, 200916 yr Hew coached a tremendous game yesterday. Did he make mistakes? Sure....but he also made some brilliant calls.....the screen to Powell, the pass to Vic that was barely out of bounds, the bomb to Trent....he put the team in awesome position to win, and it just didn't happen. I am very proud to be a Card fan today, and like where this ship is going. I'm with you, RP! I think that had the calls that didn't work, worked, everyone would be singing a different tune today. That's the thing with play calling....if it works you're a genius, if it doesn't, you're...well...not. Although really hoping for a win, I am VERY pleased with what I saw yesterday, and what that bodes for the future!

I am very proud to be a Card fan today, and like where this ship is going. UK's 3 straight turn overs in the 3rd quarter put UL in a position to win. UL didn't pretty much nothing to stop UK in the 2nd half when they didn't stop themselves.

September 21, 200916 yr You said that UofL had no chance, and that the game wouldn't be close. You were wrong. How can you argue that? :idunno: St. X guys have a hard time facing reality sometimes.
September 21, 200916 yr That would make sense, but if thats not it would you agree this was a mistake by the coaching staff? Completely....that's why I am confident that was the case....I'll know for sure tomorrow.
September 21, 200916 yr St. X guys have a hard time facing reality sometimes. That goes without saying though.
September 21, 200916 yr UK is my second favorite team, but Saturday I was a little ashamed of them. Let's be honest U of L is not a good football team. But, to me it seemed like the more talented team didn't want it as bad as they did. I think U of L deserved the win, and I just can't believe that Kentucky...KENTUCKY, of all teams would seem to lookpast an opponent, especially an in-state rival. As for Krags, I feel sorry for the guy as he is just not the right guy for UofL.
September 21, 200916 yr Only thing I concluded from this game is the UK and UL are not very good football teams.
