August 20, 200917 yr The gatorade segment was pretty funny. Same with him and the center talking about smelling the back of his hand. I agree with the center and with Laverne about age.
August 20, 200917 yr This show is great...I think I would watch any team that was featured. I agree. Chad's "Supersize Me" comment was awesome.
August 20, 200917 yr The contract talks at the end made me cringe! Same here. Just sign him already. :ohbrother:
August 20, 200917 yr IMO there's no good way to do it. I think the Bengals go this route to avoid the embarrassment for the player. I found this quote that I'm guessing sums up the Bengals thinking: ''The guys don't want to go in there and be embarrassed in front of their peers,'' Rick Donohue, the Giants' assistant general manager, who was also the team's Turk for several years, said last week. ''You understand. It's a hard day.'' http://www.nytimes.com/2001/08/27/sports/on-pro-football-in-era-of-kinder-cuts-the-turk-s-time-is-up.html Most teams call the players they're cutting to the Director of Personnel's office. Watching the Ravens a few years back, they did it in probably the most classy way possible. The Turk got the player and brought him to Billick's office. Billick would tell the player that they were cut, why they were cut, and what they needed to do to become an NFL player.
August 20, 200917 yr Great episode. I'm beginning to like some of these players . I am too. Carson was hilarious. I've enjoyed each season of it. I think I liked the Ravens years the best though. KC was ok, cause I like Herm alot. The Cowboys year was hard to watch as a Cowboys fan...I went through 2 a days harder than that back in the day.
August 20, 200917 yr Very good show. I will continue to watch this series no matter what team they feature.
August 20, 200917 yr Looks like the Bengals wasted another 1st rounder pick. Or was she playing for the cameras...
August 20, 200917 yr I also enjoyed seeing the lighter side of CP, he seems like a very approachable guy.
