August 17, 200917 yr stick, I think they are OK at FB but I really worry about TE. I would be looking hard at any quality TE getting cut from another team. It would be nice if they could find someone in the Jason Dunn type mode that is a really good run blocker. I think it's probably too late to find a good all around TE.
August 17, 200917 yr Well that says a lot more about his character than anything. Your a long term veteran and your going to let a rookie come out there and just flat dominate you? Then, whine all day about having to do the Oklahoma Drill. That is WEAK. Way to show some leadership, Mr. Williams...
August 17, 200917 yr How was WR Jerome Simpson (Bengals draft pick in 2008)? Buried on the depth chart behind CJ, Coles, and Henry...from what I saw of the pre-season game, it looks like Caldwell is ahead of Simpson. Of course, that may have just been from the circumstances of that game. We'll wait and see. I'm curious, like you.

August 18, 200917 yr Over the next couple of seasons, we can't help but to compare Simpson with Sweed. Don't know much about Simpson (other than Homer), but Sweed is having a great camp and a pretty solid first preseason game.
August 18, 200917 yr Don't know much about Simpson (other than Homer), but Sweed is having a great camp and a pretty solid first preseason game. I think the comparison comes into play due to the fact that the Bengals selected, may I say questionably, Simpson when Sweed was still on the board. Another pretty decent reciever they elected not to choose with the 2nd rd. pick was Desean Jackson who was drafted by Philly 3 spots later.

August 20, 200917 yr I'm glad they passes on Sweed!!! Sweed caught six balls for 64 yards last year... :idunno:
August 20, 200917 yr How was this week fellas? I liked it, a lot of behind the scenes stuff and again very entertaining. I like it because it appears to be raw and unedited. Marvin even joked that Mike told him "Child Please," funny stuff.
August 20, 200917 yr This episode was good due to Carson Palmer. What a goofy dude. I agree, it showed a lot of Carson's personality we don't often see.
