August 27, 200917 yr I absolutely love the show, and it being the Bengals makes it incredibly appealing. I knew I'd like Maualuga but I just can't wait to see him improve on a weekly basis. When they showed the LB coach talking about him being a load it made me want to take a hit just to feel the power. The Nelson kid is very interesting, the kid can move and has a nose for the pigskin. I don't know how I feel about them airing the Andre Smith mock, you have to wonder what he feels like watching his future teammates (maybe) laugh their rears off. The only part that infuriates me is the way the cut their players. Lippencott doesn't even pull them into an office, he does it while all the other players are walking by. They could at least give the player a final opportunity with Marvin and possibly his position coach. There's Lippencott, telling players the process in about 30 seconds, the next thing you know he pulls out a flight itenerary and sends the ball boy to walk him to his car. I wanted to cringe thinking the rest of the NFL is seeing how they treat their castoffs. Overall, I can't wait until the game tomorrow.

Mom and pop usually refers to business that is owned by an individual or family. Don't most NFL franchises fall into this category? Green Bay is the only one I can think of that is not. Heck, the person leading negotiations met the agent of Smith in what appeared to be pajama pants.

I'd be very nervous if I was Lynch. When the head coach AND the position coach both question your willingness to hit someone at the point of attack, you're a short-timer.

I know guys play to get paydays, but the only way I would play for the Bengals is if it was my last chance in the NFL...........they honestly might be the worst run team in all of pro sports................... August 28, 200917 yr Worst run in what way? They make a ton of money so I say they are all doing something right. Just because you don't like the product they put on the field doesn't mean it is horribly ran. Now saying they are no good at putting a winner on the field is something I can agree with but they know exactly what they are doing.

Their ability to make money is less a testament to their business acumen than it is to the power of the NFL and the limited options we have.
