August 13, 200917 yr Mike Brown really came across as a dynamic leader of the organization...I expect big things this year Please tell me you're kidding..
August 13, 200917 yr Did you see Mike Brown running the meeting asking if a def. guy could move to TE? All the coaches heads went down, even Marvin! Brown is still running the show and the reason we are still losing. Instead of getting a free agent, he wants to move guys around from there original positions. I say Mike Brown, CHILD PLEASE!

The Bengals did move a player from defense to offense last week. Shirley (?) moved from DL to OG.
August 13, 200917 yr Way too much face time for Brown and Blackburn. Quite hilarious actually. Anyone else think if HBO isn't in the house, those two are nowhere (important) to be found? And call me a sexist but Katie Blackburn has no business discussing personnel moves based on certain players footwork or whatever intricate part of the game they were discussing. If that show doesn't get you jacked up for football season in general, check your pulse. I think this will be what I need to get excited for the Bengals this year. Thank you HBO.
August 13, 200917 yr Please tell me you're kidding.. I thought that was obvious...what a disaster that organization is..sad that none of the coaches spoke up in the meeting..Moving guys from TE to FB..then 2 days moving last years 5th round pick to OL..glad I don't invest any of my time and money to them anymore.

Katie's line ..I can't believe we are offering all that money and they won't take it..classic...Lippincott is quite the physical specimen.
August 13, 200917 yr I agree on Katie and thought the same thing. Brown is a joke. I hope Marvin feels like this is it and coaches my way or the highway. I remember several years ago we were all drinking the Kool Aide with the "In Mavin We Trust" slogan. I think he can coach but has his hands tied somewhat. The Bengals need CJ too come up big! I'm not going to lie that show made me worry about their offense some. I loved the Koffman pick when the stold him but he is still young and learning. They aren't solid at TE in the run game like they were but he will give them a threat along with Utech if he gets healthy. I worry a lot about LT as I'm pretty sure I could have played that bad. FB is a problem. The best guy played hard but is undersized. J. Johnson is huge. I had a close friend that played with him in college and he's always been big with nice hands but he's too big for his own good right now. Hopefully he trims down as he continues to get healthy. I'm probably more excited about the defense than anything. They have a slew of safeties! About 4-5 of them. Crocker looks to be a playmaker this year! Can't believe the rookie pancaked Williams! I really think Mailuga is the piece they have been missing other than Dline. He brings an attitiude and presence. Along with Rivers they have the potential to be one of the best young LBing cores in the league IMO. Can't wait for next week!
August 13, 200917 yr Child please I just watched the episode, so I now know what you are trying to say. I am sorry if it offends you that Cincinnati is a terrible organization. That's not my fault though, it's Mike Brown's.
August 13, 200917 yr I can't even blame it on Marvin, I think he can have success somewhere else, I'm sure he's hoping this is his last season there
