Ramsi's is where you took us when we were up there, right? That place is killer. Great brisket and Mrs. S loved the Sea Bass. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

It sure is. And if I could just quench my cravings for the Po Girl, I would give the dishes you try a chance. That sandwich is so darned good though that I literally can't bring myself to choose another entree, no matter how much I pour over the menu. I'm so glad you liked it. I love it, but not many of my friends do.

Still run by the Frommeyer brothers from Ft Mitchell???

Yep. They're doing very well down there - particularly on weekends. I usually call ahead for seating if I'm heading down there on Friday or Saturday.

Yeah, I think so. I've never had it, but seeing as they're new clients of ours, I think I'll have to add it to my list of places to try in the near future.

Take your lady-friend. It's not a bad place for a date.

I don't eat out that often but here are a few items I would add in N. Ky.:

Montgomery Inn - Ribs and Shrimp combo with the plum sauce is my favorite.

Greyhound Tavern - Gotta get the onion rings.

Pompilios - My preference is the Tortellini.

Rafferty's - The fried chicken salad with the honey mustard and hot bacon dressing.

And here is a unique one that I will list because it is that good ... Crispy Flounder at Hymans, Charleston SC.

I am sure I will think of something else later.

The Soprano burger - Side Bar, Covington (burger, cheese, mozzarilla sticks, pizza sauce)

The Devil's Advocate - Side Bar, Covington (burger, pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, buffalo ranch, devil's crotch sauce)

r.

Excellent recommendation. Tried it today for lunch. Had "The Hangover" which is cheddar/bacon/fried egg. Yummy.

Cool little place.

When in Louisville I always try to stop at the Irish Rover for the fish and chips, a couple of scotch eggs (got to use the Coleman's Mustard) and a couple of pints of Irish Rover Red. In the NKY area it is the Hofbräuhaus in Newport for the Jägerschnitzel.

The Royal hoagie at Papa D's in Florence must be on the list.

Bronx Bomber pizza sans black olives at Dewey's is on there.

Im good for a Hot Baked Royal once a week:) Other than Chicago Style Pizza, Papa dino's make the best pizzas I have ever eaten. Homemade Andouille at Virgil's is too good to be missed, as well.

Really neat place. Glad you liked it. I've yet to try the Hangover, but have been meaning to.

The time to go is Sunday's (we usually make it our weekly local to watch the Sunday afternoon Reds games.). They have a deal on Sunday's that gives you any burger, fries, the giant pickle, and a Burger Beer for $6. Tons of food, low price.
