hidinout
Colonels list for NKY is a STRONG lists , me and him could eat for months and never complain. I'm not from cincy area but have to add the fried flounder app from Kung Foods amerasia . And most of their stuff is fantastic , but that Korean place has me thinking about skipping a visit to Amerasia to try the Korean .

Jim Schue
I feel as though I neglected mentioning Mammy's Kitchen's star attraction: The Hot Brown, or if you're hoping to avoid a nap afterward, get the Baby Brown. They bake several turkeys daily to meet the demand.
JDEaston
I ate at Frogtown in Ironton the other night for the first time and it was pretty good. Anybody else ate there? I had big NY strip and we shared a plate of frog legs for an appetizer. I've been there. It's been a while so it may be completely different now, but their food was mainly hit or miss for me, but again I haven't been there in about 7 years. If you like stuffed mushrooms, try those the next time your there, I'm almost positive that the sauce they useis the old C.R Thomas's recipe. Best stuffed mushrooms I've ever had. hidinout
Well took my 83 yr old Mom down to Cincy to gamble some ( more) of my inheritance away at the Shoe today .. So afterwards we went over to Riverside Korean and tried that hot stone rice bowl dish... Honestly I was kinda underwhelmed . Just not enough flavor for me , I had the beef and its so thinly and finely cut I couldn't taste it . Mom had the same dish with all veggies and no egg . She thought hers was rather bland . It wasn't bad , it just didn't wow me like I thought it might . BUT I had a wonderful lil appetizer at Findlay Market while waiting on her , GOETTA Egg Rolls from Mimi's gourmet egg rolls and curry bowls . It was one fine egg roll and the dipping sauce is fantastic . Good have eaten 1/2 dozen of them . The market is soooo much fun. I bought crab claws and skate fillets , smoked meat , 3 diff types of Hot Metts . and all sorts of other goodies

mcpapa
We hit a home run almost every time we visit the 'ville. Love Havana Rumba (cuban sandwich and H.R. sandwich). Highland Morning (good morning breakfast burrito, lemon lovers pancakes). Vietnam Kitchen was a pleasant surprise (several spicy noodle bowl options). Queen of Sheba (several spicy Ethiopian spicy meat stews).
Colonels_Wear_Blue
Ate at Joy Luck on Bardstown Road this past weekend. The Cantonese duck was PHENOMENAL. I want to go back already. I went to a Japanese restaurant last night and got some INSANELY good ramen. Made me think of this thread. The roasted chicken at Yummy Pollo is really really good too. Had that for the first time maybe 2 months ago. Peruvian style chicken, roasted whole on a spit over charcoal. It's the only entree the restaurant does, but by goodness, its damn good. swamprat
I need to revamp mine a bit. Bruno's is gone. The kid and his father got into a big fight and the old man closed the place down. My brother-in-law closed his catering business. Too much work for too little money. He still does BBQ for the family, though. Additions...
