March 4, 201115 yr Deep Fried egg plant: F&N Steakhouse, Dayton Ky. It may be gone now but the memory lives on! I definitely agree; I miss the F&N, it was one of my favorite restaurants. It's a shame they went out of business.

March 10, 201115 yr Author Having lived in Louisville for almost three years now, I would definitely change a few dishes on my list. For starters the Duck Taco at Hammerhead's is most likely going on my list.
April 10, 201115 yr Have to add one to mine. Cajun Shrimp appetizer and The Bucket of Boat Trash (fried shrimp and fish with lobster claws served in a bucket over fries) - Bubba Gump Shrimp Company on Medeira Beach. Ate there for the first time tonight. Great food and atmosphere. The Cajun Shrimp is served with garlic bread for dipping in the cajun butter sauce. My God, it's unbelievable. I could eat that stuff all day. Mrs. S had Kentucky Bourbon Skewers. She loved it. BTW - If anybody from Fayette County has lost the tag off of their car, I found it. It's hanging in one of Bubba's dining rooms.
