GREAT victory tonight by the Reds. Lots of things to love in their performance tonight.

The biggest story of the first 2 games in my opinion is the way they have neutralized Pujols. Impressive.

A sweep would be awesome, Lets Go Reds.

Big win.

Every starter had at least 1 hit tonight with the exception of Hanigan. Even Harang with a 2 RBI single.

Jay Bruce is on a tear. He & Taveras both have 10 game hitting streaks.

More to come about Gonzalex & his injury. I think he heads to the DL...

Is it just me, or is Jerry Hairston a completely different hitter when he's in the lineup at SS?

It's funny to think about how postal some folks where about letting Dunn+Griff go. The Reds have a great young nucleus. It's early so I'm not getting duked but this team sure is fun right now!

What has been an even bigger joy for me is to see how excited my dad is every time I see him. I'm 34 now and grew up playing in the backyard while he would work + listen to the Reds. He LOVES them! It's to the point now that he has even gotten my mom to sit down every night and watch them! lol I love it! He likes to laugh and tell me she is finally on board lol.

Winning like this against the Cards sure feels good!

Just got home from the game and it was awesome! The atmosphere of having that big of crowd was great.

Just got home, that was a great game to be at. Baseball is so much more fun with a huge crowd.

Sold out game tonight (JV bobblehead) but it was awesome listening to the the game on 700, they were very loud.

Wish you could have been there, playoff atmosphere. I've been to Fenway and Yankee Stadium and this was just as good. It should be like this almost every night. If they keep winning maybe it will be.

Before the season started I was told I was nuts when I said the Cardinals and Reds will battle for the division championship. Walt Jockety is a very good general manager and I saw what he did it St. Louis. He's doing the same thing for Cincinnati.

I agree. While good players, those two guys did a heckuva job dampening the overall enthusiasm on the team. I love 'em both, but was not sorry to see them go, as they were holding the team back.

17-13. I am very happy about that record right now. Keep it up please..

I have a question regarding Friday's game. Early in the game ( maybe 1st batter) hit a foul ball that Hanigan dropped. He wasn't charged an error. Why? It was clearly a play that a major league catcher should make. I believe the batter eventually struck out. Anyone know?

Here's some stats on Reds Pitchers Batting:

I was in the suite next to the inner city little league team. They had a blast and were cheering all game. Every time the Reds scored we would chant R-E-D-S Reds, Reds, Reds. They must have been on the big screen 4 times, they were cracking us up! As far as he game goes, it was awesome to see good pitching and great hustle out of all the players.
