May 8, 200917 yr And this one belongs to the Reds. Nice play by Hernandez at 1st. :dancingpa:dancingpa
May 8, 200917 yr Bang. Bang. Bang... I'm glad I'm wrong on occasion, but I do have a big gut, and when it tries to tell you something, you listen.:lol:

May 8, 200917 yr Owings had a very good game tonight. He should have given up only 2 runs, but the defense was very shaky tonight.
May 8, 200917 yr Author Big performance by Owings tonight. I was (once again) unable to watch the game, but I envision a gutsy performance by Owings. This was a big win. Apparently Dusty had to make the lineup out 3 times tonight, due to everybody getting sick. Good to see that Nix is going to get his chance. It's about freakin' time. Paul Janish on base 3 times tonight. 2 hits & 1 BB. Rosales went 0-3...now down to .214. Hopefully he can have a solid weekend when the Cards come to town. Still love the way the guy plays & love the energy he brings to the lineup. And .214 still beats Edwin. Gonzalex is hoping to swing a bat by Saturday. Doesn't sound too good for him...
May 8, 200917 yr Good win for the Red-Legs. All we can hope now is that Phillips and Votto don't have the Swine Flu.

What's your excuse tonight, watching the Hannah Montana you taped? Rosales hit the ball hard twice tonight, but right at people. He is struggling a bit though, and he also bobbled another sure fire double play ball that really opened the door for the Brewers in the 5th. I agree with SSC. I'll be disappointed if Gomes isn't up here tomorrow if Gonzo goes on the DL.

I'll be disappointed if Gomes isn't up here tomorrow if Gonzo goes on the DL. I wish. I'd actually pay good $$$ to be watching Hannah Montana as opposed to what I've been doing... I'm fine with Rosales playing everyday. He may or may not produce but he'll play hard. That's more than the last guy we had at third. You ready to come around on Janish yet?

I still feel that way if he's healthy, but Janish has definitely been a pleasant surprise with his bat.
May 8, 200917 yr Anybody going tomorrow for Fireworks Friday? I'm thinking about it....after looking at tickets, it appears students get half price on certain sections.
May 8, 200917 yr Good thing we saved our bullpen arms the other night and threw Janish.Heres the bullpen stats. 3.0 IP 0 Hits 0 ER 6 Ks
