I for one am not after BCG's head, I just thought that he did not have this team ready to play at all tonight. I also thought that on this night that Horn had out prepared and outcoached him badly.I don't know whether or not if they will but it certainly wouldn't suprise me to see SC win the SEC tournament.

 

I agree with the bolded part, but it was much easier for Horn to design a game plan, considering he had a very favorable matchup.

Kentucky had 5 guys in the box score, that's pretty sad. Meeks and Patterson combine for 46 of UK's 59 points, wow. 20 Kentucky turnovers to 12 SC turnovers. I wonder how well Billy will sleep tonight..

Good thing they dont have basketball 101 at UK because everyone on this team would be academically ineligible.

Hard to believe there was "undefeated" in the SEC a little over a month ago. Clyde is having a hard time getting it done. I keep hearing about no talent, last time I checked UK has two All-American, future first rounders. That ought to be enough to get it done in the SEC THIS year.

Seriously, there are way too many extremists on this site with their opinions about UK basketball and BCG.

 

Secondly, I agree that Pride and Heart win games and they have won games in the past on that, however, it is not 1992 it is 2009 and talent is different, it is much different and much harder to win on heart and pride at the level UK is playing on, D1.

 

The Cats will rebound, there are some great players on the team and I believe BCG can get the most out of them, even if he does have horrible media answers and comments.

This one hurts. This is truly a Jeckyl and Hyde team.

Things don't get any easier, LSU is coming to town..

People need to level with themselves. Two of UK's starters Porter and Harris should be nothing more than bench players if even on the team. UK is giving up two positions each game. Meeks and Patterson can only do so much. An athletic team or any team with 5 good basketball players will give UK trouble.

 

UK has a non existent point guard and really ZERO outside shooting except Meeks. Stevenson while a nice role-player is not big enough to bang down low and never will be. Then you look at the bench and outside of a sporatic Miller there is no scoring or size. This is a border line NCAA team and probably a team who won't win the NIT if they end up there.

 

This is a team who desperately needs a guard/ball hander, some outside shooting and really another big guy. Until that kinda depth is brought in the 10 loss seasons will continue.

I hate to say I told ya so, but did people really think UK was going to win this game?

It doesn't bother me one bit, but I just wish people would admit that they're voting from their hearts, and not their heads. You just admitted that you're voting from your heart. Good for you. Show me once where I've "dissed" the Cats. I just give my honest opinion on what I feel the Wildcats chances are in a game. If I think they'll win, I say so. If I think they'll lose. I say so. Hey, if you want to start a poll each game and have the poll question as " Who do you want to win?" I can promise you I'll pick UK 100% of the time. That's not what the poll questions are though.
