They don't defend well, they don't shot well, they don't rebound well, they don't take care of the ball, and unless Meeks goes for 40 they are mediocre at best. I have seen some UK teams with Less talent but played with Pride,Heart and Knew what it meant to wear the Blue and white...There was a big difference...

Not defending and not rebounding, not making the hustle plays is about heart. I've had some teams that lacked in physical ability, but what we did do was take pride in outhustling teams on the glass, on the defensive end and in a scrap for a loose ball. My head coach always told us that no matter how e might struggle offensively there was no excuse for not rebounding, playing tough D, ad coming up with every loose ball. Thats heart. UK was lacking that tonite.

February 26, 200917 yr I think this team has more talent than Farmer, Pelphrey, Feldhaus, and Woods. That team also had Mashburn, Woods was a great PG, and Pelphrey and Feldhaus could both shoot, and had high basketball IQ's.
February 26, 200917 yr My optimism for this team is officially gone. Every time I watch them they struggle, or so it seems. I didn't get to see the last game and they dominated...maybe I should just stop watching them.

February 26, 200917 yr Two men teams cannot win against good competition. Kentucky does not have a point guard on the team. Other three on floor besides PP and Meeks are too up and down to make a good team. Think Horn had a real good game plan for PP. If other team can slow down PP or Meeks Cats cannot win. I do not think BCG is the man for Kentucky job. Cats are an average team that if they win 2 of the next 3 and 1 game in SEC tourney will probably make the Big Dance because of the name on their jersey. My opinion they are not a NCAA tourney team.
