Trinity lives in a mansion and Highlands is in section 8 housing...It is amazing what HHS does with what they have to work with...:eek::eek:

 

What a wonderful job they do to even field a team. 80 players every year..having to play up in class even to be somewhat tested.

So what is the million dollar plus building they are constructing now going to be used for. I know Baseball will definately be in there.

 

Cov Cath's new facility is an "Olympic Sports" facility. Basketball has their facility in the gym.

 

They plan to set up a facility for all other sports and give the existing weight room to football only. It's based on a collegiate model for facility use. Rather smart actually.

The Marshall Center has been putting out strong football and power lifting student athletes for nine years under the leadership of the Strength Coach, Bob Maddox. His resume of success speaks for it's self! Also, he has created a lifting program for every other sport at the ROCK

Henry Countys new weight room in their field house is top of the line. It is pretty unique. I dont have any pictures but I will see if I can get some from my old coach.

Lol NewCath's wouldn't either. Although, they have big plans for the future for their facility. They already started building onto the school. It looks good so far and will be featuring a new weight room. Also a new football turf field on campus.

 

Just come across this and I wondering if this new turf field will be a practice facility or an actual home field for games.

Love Maddox, very strong guy and with incredible leadership in the weight room. Marshall Center is as good as any weight room in the Commonwealth, and Maddox (if you ever call him that is how he answers, Maddox).

 

Have worked almost exclusively with him over the last few years, love what he does with the program. He gets great results.

 

As for the weight room itself, there is some opportunity to set it up more efficiently; but again space isn't a factor for Trinity. The could put in all racks and open up a lot more room, but again his set up works perfect for his program.

 

Maddox is a great asset for Trinity.

My last year at Newport the weight room under the stands got condemned and we couldnt use it.

 

Since then they have put together a nice weightroom at the school and think they cleaned up the one under the bleachers as well but havent been in there in a long long time.

When will CovCath's Olympic Training Center be ready for use? Is there a name for this awesome facility or can we just use "The OTC at Wooten Field".

So does any team in NKY have a nice weightroom. You can add CCH to the list of old musty undersized weightrooms. I cleaned some mats in there a few years ago and I'm sure it was the first time in the history of the program that they had been cleaned.

 

Lloyd's weight room is awful. It's an old storage room with old equpiment-terrible!
