December 8, 200817 yr I know quite a few UK alum that were planning on going to the bowl game, but have decided not to because it's in Memphis. Don't blame them one bit. Not the nicest place in the world.

I was there with my son for a baseball tournament and some nice people I had met while down at memphis said the city was 80% Africa-American so I thought that was interesting. They do have some of the best barbeque though that I have ever eaten and thats saying something!:thumb:
December 8, 200817 yr I was going until they announced the Liberty Bowl. Not very inviting going from a 3 1/2 hour to basically a 7 hour drive for me. I'm out!!!!
December 8, 200817 yr Why was there no Liberty Bowl in 2008? Probably because it was played in December before then. It was played in the 07/08 athletic season, and this one is in 08/09.
