December 8, 200817 yr I was going until they announced the Liberty Bowl. Not very inviting going from a 3 1/2 hour to basically a 7 hour drive for me. I'm out!!!! We're out also! I thought we'd be back in the Music City Bowl. I believe the way the team performed late in the season effected their bid.
December 8, 200817 yr I know quite a few UK alum that were planning on going to the bowl game, but have decided not to because it's in Memphis. Don't blame them one bit. Not the nicest place in the world. Memphis isn't bad at all if you stay on the east side around germantown. Just don't cross the river and get lost in West Memphis. Also MS suburbs have so nice hotels especially if you go near Tunica.
