I agree but I have a feeling Trinity will not be at this game on Friday. I'm thinking they will make it to the stadium about 5ish on Saturday. :lol::lol::lol:

Thanks for the correction TD. :D

SK has a ton of sophmores that are studs.. Miles is a great back and he's not there only weapon.

No he is not, but he is on a different level than any of the others.

I cannot decide if the quotes and comments attributed to SK's HC are;

1. What he really and truly believes.

2. Meant simply to "fire up" and movitivate his team

3. Annoy and aggravate T :confused::confused:

As far as #3 goes, which quotes would either annoy or aggravate Trinity?

Any of the ones that don't sing praise to Trinity and their AMAZING program. :lol::fight: The nerve of that coach, I wonder if he's even thanked Trinity for allowing SK the opportunity to play on the same field as them.:scared:

He will be able to do that long about 9:15 - 9:30 Saturday night.;)

Simpson, more specifically the OL. But they are balanced enough to keep Trinity honest. Much like St. X in terms of style of play. Except I think Simpson is better than Finch.

Their defense is aggressive, but struggles defending the pass if their blitzes are picked up. They are very much like Male as far as the blitzing goes. However they differ in that they play mostly zone behind the blitzes where as Male plays man.

I have not seen Simon Kenton this season, but if they have struggle defending the pass with any of their opponents to date this season, they are in for a long night against Trinity's sophisticated passing attack. This makes me think the score will really be lopsided.

I say: Trinity 56 Simon Kenton 6

Almost like 1994 all over again, they had two college linebackers back then that followed Alexander all over, Maney the fullback had a much better game than Shaun I thought.

Not exactly the gameplan, but I see what you're getting at.

Will Sat. night be another T vs. Ryle [Part II]

or

Do our NKY friends really know what they are talking about - and this Team \ Game will be something special [ more than simply 'wishful thinking'] ??:sssh:

How many TD's did Alexander have when they played Trinity back in the mid 90's?

1....he also threw an INT, and ran for about 90 yards...while being very, VERY sore....we played all 1,400 boys in that game...

Outstanding......and as I recall platoons of them were waiting in the nice warm locker rooms to come rolling out at the appointed time. WE are simply fortunate to have the Football Factory that we have.

What is interesting about this game is the match-up is styles.

Trinity's offense is similar to Conner's, which is not good if you are rooting for SK.

SK's offense is very similar to St.X's, and they moved the ball well at times. Plus I think that Simpson is better than Finch.

I think overall Trinity is better and deeper, no surprise. SK will not be able to stop or contain Trinity's offense without getting turnovers.

Trinity 42 SK 20.

For the Trinity fans, Simpson will remind you of Alexander but bigger, by about 20lbs. They both have a similar running stride that makes it look like they are not as fast as they really are deceptive speed. Before anyone jumps to conclusions, he is not as good as Alexander.

This game will be lopsided and yes I have seen both teams play.

My original prediction was 42-14 T.

I think after more thought about the match-ups and SK problems defending the pass(see Conner game). Also, the way T played defense against X(SK same style and sets). While I think that Simpson is better than Finch, the rest of SK is not nearly at the same talent level as X.

So, I changing my prediction to 56-6 T. With SK scoring late in the fourth. T scoring a TD on its first 5 possessions and scoring one TD on a pick 6. This is just an outsiders view of what will take place.
