Unless I am mistaken - is that not what it is all about? How to adapt - who makes the fewest mistakes, who rises to the occasion, who is able to overcome their miscues?

Welcome to the bright lights of the 'Pizza box". Seems to be always a "reason" or explanation. "What if's" does not really mean or prove anything. Have to admire Ryle for their effort and for making the Final. But you know the result - no if's ands or buts.

Will Sat. night be simply a repeat of the 'hated' Rocks handily winning over the NKY Powerhouse of the DAy ???

Thats my point. Everyone is saying Trinity vs Ryle part II but if SK comes out and does what Ryle didn't do, then they will keep it close to the end. Ryle would have kept it much closer if they didn't do those things. Simon Kenton will give themselves a chance in the end if they do play mistake free football, rise to the occasion, and overcome the miscues.

I have trouble seeing SK pulling off this upset, but it would be good for the state of affairs in 6A football if this was a close game.

1. So are you saying that if both teams play mistake free football, it's a game that comes down to the last few plays?

2. Have you seen both teams play?

I'm thinking he's saying that SK would need to play a flawless game, and Trinity would have to make some mistakes, at least that's my feeling. If both teams play their A game, I think Trinity has a huge advantage.

I agree, but am confused as to what he is saying.

Trinity by 3 touchdowns.

I'll take SK and here is why. I watched them go down 7-0 and 10-0 in the first quarter of their last 2 games and thought that was the end. They came back to dominate those 2 heavily favored opponents 42-0 in the next 3 quarters. I saw logical, straight shooting reasons why they would lose all 4 playoff games and the Campbell County game, all were wrong. A coin flip would have gotten you 40-60% better results. BTW predicting a 28-3 final would have been sufficient for a blow out, predicting 56-0 is just arrogant and insulting. Go Pioneers!!!!

Arrogant and Insulting? Welcome to the real world of 6A. 56-0 is the average of SK's only two games versus Trinity. It is very possible that Trinity can achieve this margin of victory. I do believe the 'Neers will score against the Rocks second team. Make it 49-7 with a running clock in the third quarter.

That was Arrogant... SK and Trinity are both in the State Championship Game. That means they are the best two teams in KY 6A. It's not going to be a blow out, if anything it will be close. All SK has to do is withstand Trinity's first punch, and SK will come back in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th quarter just like in the past two games.

Final: SK-21 Trinity-17 :ylsuper:

The 2 best teams in 6A are Trinity and St. X.

I watched the SK-Male game on TV. We will have 17 points in the 2nd Qtr.

Call me arrogant if you like. I like the word realist better.

I'm going to have to side with T fans here, that doesn't mean that they are the two best teams. There are championships all the time that don't feature the two best teams, this year just so happens to be one of those cases. SK can prove me wrong with a win though, and hopefully they will.

One of Us (or several on either side) - are dead wrong. Will be interesting to see which or who:p

It means that they're the two best teams still playing in 6A.

After watching St X muster a terrific 3rd quarter & then playing to a stalemate in the 4th on Friday, I have a hard time believing that SK will beat Trinity over three quarters. Trinity by 4+ TDs, just don't call me late for dinner.

That means they are the best two teams in KY 6A.

Do you honestly believe that?
