He is from Russell Independent (3A) in Russell,KY. Played his Middle school & Sophomore years there. He played his Freshman, Junior, & Senior years at St X.

Call me a homer, but after seeing Trinity play X in finals games and pulling off what everyone thought was the impossible....I'll stick with Trinity to win!

 

Homer. But that is exactly what I was thinking. In years past, it seems X would beat T during the regular season only to lose to them in the big dance. I think this will be a very close game.

Maybe X will do the gentlemanly thing and play with only 3 offensive linemen with just Neal and Deuce in the backfield. Then we may have a chance at stopping them.

Here's the thing-the Rocks players will be thinking about the 2008 game. To quote the Trinity broadcast team" St X physically manhandled the Rocks and Coach Beatty accused them of being soft." Don't jump me- talk to Wayne and Company. That is different than years past. I think it ends Friday night. If it does, add football to golf, soccer and the runner up in cross country this fall for the Tigers in 2008.

St. X: Finch, Foy, the big tackle from Eastern Ky., Brutscher, any other interior linemen...........?

Very good point. Time and Time again we have heard about "the best team in the State....best (X) team ever..etc." Who knows - maybe it is true this year. All I know is that I doubt this year - if it is indeed "their year" - will wipe away all the distaste from those previous "the better team lost."

At this point, 75% are leaning towards the Tigers, I know they won big in their first game against Trinity, but I thouht the poll would be closer.
