As much as I would love to see this and as much as X's offense has demolished everyone that has stood in their way, I just can't see X doing this to a rock team twice in one season. Bean is a great coordinator and win or lose the rocks will be much better prepared for the Tigers in this go-round.

X hasn't shown the ability to beat T in the playoffs but I think this might be the year they finally get over the hump against the Rocks. I can almost guarantee it will be a closer game than the first match up though. The T coaches are great at game planning the second time around after a loss.

What seniors from these teams are likely to be going to college next year on football scholarships (top two NCAA divisions-formerly 1A and 1AA)?

I agree with this, I have felt that when these two teams faced a second time, that Trinity will be much better prepared. Not that they were not prepared the first time around, but T will look to change the complexion of this game early and try to force a change in tempo keeping X's O off the field. If they are effective, T has a chance, slim, but a chance. Bottomline, this is the best chance than anyone has of beating X this year.

IMVHO all of the pressure in this one is squarely on the Tiger's shoulders.

 

The last two times they have had "the best team in the state" and faced Trinity in the playoffs the "best team" didn't win. That has to be in the back of every Tiger's mind.

 

Glaser has never had an undefeated season as head coach. As much as he and the X faithful will try to deny it, that has to be playing on his mind. Maybe this is finally his year.

You flip a coin often enough and it will eventually come up "X". It has been "T" for this decade thus far, so the Law of Averages is on Tiger Town's side. I have spent so much money on championship hoodies and rings and shirts.... perhaps in this time of economic crunch X will give me a bailout break this year!

I'm undecided in this one... I'm still reeling off my first X/T match last year in the Finals?

 

Question though... If I were to attend this game, what would be the recommended time to get there? To beat the big crowd and what not? I don't mind waiting around a few hours.
