They had zero TO's against Eastern. They had five against Ballard. But your point is dead on....if Trinity is sloppy with the ball, they lose, and likely lose handily. If they take care of it, they can certainly win this game.

It is finally here. Wow-suffering for 51 weeks and now a chance at redemption. T's offense has really turned it up a notch since the earlier meeting. For one team, the careers end Friday night. Thanks for the memories on both sides.

Why would someone say something inflammatory? Deuse may be healthy but so is the Trinity's O line who opens up so many holes for Timmy. Looks like it will be a Timmy-Duece show on Friday night. I'll take Timmy in this contest..

As I recall, Deuce and Neal ran all over the great Trinity D, and Brutscher threw for 2 TD's.

If anyone can remember in '05, X's Qb went out with a broken foot and they only had one breakaway Rb in Anderson. Last year they had an unhealthy Deuce and a bad break on the Phillip's fumble that was ruled down.

Now they have two Qb's that have seen substantial playing time, a healthy Deuce who is playing his best football since being in high school and a speed demon in Neal.

I have a hard time going against them.

Can't disagree with that strategy of 4 times to Deuce. I would even tell the Trinity defense the snap count.

Just one question- how many times did we (X) score by pass in the final versus running the ball? Take what is given-but you know it wasn't my favorite target!!

 

Answer: 3 by pass, 1 by run. And if Aaron Knotts takes off his glove like the other 3 times we ran the play, 4 TD's by pass. The WR was WIDE OPEN! But that was last year. LEAVE NO DOUBT!

 

BTW-if you have the film, which I'm am sure every Shamrock fan has on their DVD/VCR, watch Deuce on the interception play. If the QB throws to Finch after the fake, he is wide open. We threw that alot in 7 on 7 but not in the regular season. But hopefully no IF's this year.

The temps will be in the lower 30's at kickoff and upper 20's by late in the game. Will it have any effect? I can't wait. Go Tigers!

Not sure I'd say this when he was healthy, let alone coming back from injury. I recall him being run down by a T defender from behind despite having a few steps in the first game.

Because around 20,000 maybe more will be at this game.

Here's the thing-the Rocks players will be thinking about the 2008 game. To quote the Trinity broadcast team" St X physically manhandled the Rocks and Coach Beatty accused them of being soft." Don't jump me- talk to Wayne and Company. That is different than years past. I think it ends Friday night. If it does, add football to golf, soccer and the runner up in cross country this fall for the Tigers in 2008.

 

I am amazed you listen to the Trinity Radio guys!!! Here's the thing - the Trinity players are thinking about 2005 & 2007 and redemption of 2008 - (As in 2005 & 2007)
