Obama is going to be OUR next president. There is nothing wrong with him trying to get prepared and make a smooth transistion. This is another example of Republicans making an issue out of a non-issue.

I purposefully have stayed away from P&R pretty much since the election. Upon my return, what to my wondering eyes should appear but a typical Obama-bashing thread.

 

Except this time, there's a new spin. We really, really like what Obama's doing; we just don't like the way he comes across in doing it. Hilarious!

 

It's like I never left.

This thread makes me laugh. Obama will never be good enough for some of you. As some have stated before, if Obama was laying low right now, there would be voices crying out because he wasn't taking the job seriously enough or wasn't properly preparing. :lol:

 

Personally it makes me feel good to have a president "chomping at the bit" to get into office and get to work.

 

I will say, though, that if we weren't in the current economic situation we would be seeing less of Obama. But people are demanding answers, Wall Street is demanding answers and the world is demanding answers as to what to expect. Obama is just doing his job at this point.

 

That may be the understatement of this election ...

 

Yet another Obama bashing post. We should start one post and just add to it instead of spreading 50 mini ones to save bandwith. The guy hasn't even started his job and people wanna run him into the ground... didn't work to well for McCain/Palin either.

What NONE of you seem to understand is this isn't about us thinking he won't do a good job, this isn't about his policies, this isn't about GW, his isn't about him wanting to get a head start . This IS about Obama looking foolish by putting a sign on the podium claiming an office that doesn't even exist. This IS about what many of us tried to tell many of you for months now, the man is an elitist and a megalomaniac. I can't help it if the truth is bothersome to some.

What could possibly be wrong with that? Seems like all the Dems on here can't seperate the politics from the real issue. This has zero to do with his politics. In fact, it probably shouldn't even be in the politics forum. It's just the Dems and liberals who are wanting to defend Obama's odd behavior by claiming bias.

I am not an Obama homer by any stretch of the means, but is this seriously that big of a deal? With the current success (or lack of success) of our President, I am sure he does not mind a bit being behind closed doors and being back page news.

 

If you are now just discovering or trying to reaffirm that Obama is not one of the regular Joe the Plumbers of the world, then congratulations. All of these clowns that run for the POTUS are elites with large egos. Nothing really new here.
