Of course, if he did that, then the same ones that are complaining now would be saying, "why isn't he doing something! He can't just start this thing on Jan. 20th!" I hear no complaints of him working. I hear complaints of the audacity of his arrogance starting with the O symbol. Many of those who defend him have called W the most arrogant President of all time but O seems to be setting a path to challenge that.

Althought I stop at the Left Behind comparisons. :thumb: I would say that perhaps the times are requiring a quicker hand in the mix than in the past. The 24 hour media drives a lot of this I'm sure because he has more access than ever to being seen in transition. Think about it. CNN was just getting reviews of good in '92 when Clinton was taking over for Bush I. MSNBC, Fox, et al didn't even exist or were fledgeling at best then. All of that said, the current non-voice from the White House almost makes me believe George wants to pass off this mess as soon as possible.

I can live with that. As for O being his symbol....Oprah already has that copyrighted for herself.

I didn't vote for Obama nor do I like him at all, but this is out there. NO! There is no such thing as The Office of The President-Elect. It's egotistical, imperious and pretentious and it makes him look foolish.

If it's an office, and a person of a certain position occupies it, it stands to reason that it is the Office of ____________. Some people will get worked up over anything!
