As the leftists were not happy with Bush...and made it abundantly clear.

 

One thing you're completely wrong about is Bush's attitude. He NEVER exhibited the self-aggrandizing attitude that we're being treated to with Obama. Bush never did anything in an ego-maniacal way. He did what he thought was the best for his country, and had the guts to put our country's interests above those of other countries. His hard-nosed approach just put off those who didn't see things his way -- such as France, and Al Queda.

 

So if anyone honestly believes (however inconceivable that seems) such a statement as above, it could only be born of bias against Bush's political decisions.

 

I'm not "affronted" by Obama's plans or his planning. I, and obviously many others, are put off by his elitist, self-serving attitude. That's all this thread has been about.

Relax. If I can make it though 8 years of "aw-shucks, shoot now, ask questions later, I'll kick your booty" W, you can get through 4-8 years of Obama.

This thread makes me laugh. Obama will never be good enough for some of you. As some have stated before, if Obama was laying low right now, there would be voices crying out because he wasn't taking the job seriously enough or wasn't properly preparing. :lol:

 

Personally it makes me feel good to have a president "chomping at the bit" to get into office and get to work.

 

I will say, though, that if we weren't in the current economic situation we would be seeing less of Obama. But people are demanding answers, Wall Street is demanding answers and the world is demanding answers as to what to expect. Obama is just doing his job at this point.

But you're comparing 8 years of W bashing with 6 months of Obama bashing. If it's already at 10%, by the end of Obama's second term, he will have taken 160% more than Bush did, and perhaps for no good reason. At least the Dems had sufficient reason.

Obama is going to be OUR next president. There is nothing wrong with him trying to get prepared and make a smooth transistion. This is another example of Republicans making an issue out of a non-issue.
