Hey, if a conservative like me can see the humor in William Renhquist adorning his robe with golden chevrons to preside over Clinton's impeachment, surely you can see some humor in Obama's use of a bogus seal and touting his "President-Elect" title.

 

When we let such elitist behavior go by without comment, then we are encouraging more of the same. I want my elected officials to be servants of the people not part of a nouveau aristocracy of wealthy snobs.

When I first saw this on the news, I couldn't help but think about the Canadian series "Trailer Park Boys" where the trailer park supervisor is a member of The International Association of Trailer Parks, Trailer Park Supervisors, and Assistant Trailer Park Supervisors Or (IAOTPTPSATPS) as they referred to it.

Kinda like, "Bush lied, soldiers died" and "Impeach Bush" and two dozen threads on the latest "Bushisms" and "Bush is a moron" and referring to Bush Jr. as "Shrub" and "Bush stole the election" and about a hundred other jibes offered up by the lighthearted humorists on the left.

 

I'm not picking on you Westie... I like you, and I agree from the standpoint that I thought a lot of the Bush Bashing I was told was just good fun was actually bitter and spiteful... but after eight years of Bush Bashing by the left, you may have to endure some Obama Busting from the right.
