One thing you're completely wrong about is Bush's attitude. He NEVER exhibited the self-aggrandizing attitude that we're being treated to with Obama. Bush never did anything in an ego-maniacal way. He did what he thought was the best for his country, and had the guts to put our country's interests above those of other countries. His hard-nosed approach just put off those who didn't see things his way -- such as France, and Al Queda.

 

So if anyone honestly believes (however inconceivable that seems) such a statement as above, it could only be born of bias against Bush's political decisions.

Yes. It is petty when you say you're bothered by the President-elect using "my" in front of words such as "team" and "administration." Unless you think he is lying that its not really his team or unless you think he doesn't really have a team or administration the only word left for you to be bothered by is "my" which is the obvious word to use ergo petty.
