It's really funny how "wounded" the anti-Obama players are. :lol: I almost, but not quite, thought I felt a twinge, dare I say...pang...of sympathy for them. Then, I realized I ate too much turkey and it's probably just gas.

I think not. His "success" will depend upon him following the ultra-leftists and the non-contributors who supported him. Obviously, I will not pray for his "success".

 

There is no common ground on BGP or anywhere else for that matter. No one was neutral on Clinton or Bush. The great majority either loved or despised them. Does anyone doubt that it will be worse with this one?

 

Personally, I can't think of any material traditional and/or social issue in which I agree with him. Pray for him? Not likely. He and his ilk are dangerous to the American way of life.

Take this same exact post and put it 8 years ago and I am sure it was said to some Gore supporter. They never got overy it and prayed for W's failure so they could win in 2004.

 

And then they couldn't do that either.

 

I am sure that there are SOME Democrats that were giddy with the economic problems because it gave them the win and another chance to blame W for something.

 

I hope Obama is the best President in recorded history. Of course, I must categorized this and say that it would be falling in my line of values that would determine whether he was or was not.

 

I don't think you would hear a Kerry or Gore supporter have said that about W.

This is not a time for traditional Christian believers to compromise their beliefs. If this country had compromised with Great Britain in colonial times, we would still be under British control. If we had compromised with Hitler, we would have been speaking German- assuming we were around to do so. Compromise of beliefs is what the Bible calls "lukewarm" and we know what Christ said about being lukewarm.
