I got this idea from the "Aren't You Excited" thread.

 

Myself and several others were anything but excited for winter.

 

I don't have a problem with the cold at all. I can bundle up, not a problem. For me, it's the snow. If I'm not skiing, I have no use for snow. I hate it.

 

It's impossible to keep your car clean with the stuff on the ground and it just makes me feel dirty everywhere I go. By far the most annoying aspect of the snow is when you open your car door and a pound of snow falls in and lands in the drivers seat. I can just feel my blood pressure rising when that happens.

 

Starting your car and letting it warm up for 15 minutes every morning is a pain also.

 

What's your least favorite part of winter ?

Driving in the white stuff! I absolutely hate it. And others aren't very smart when there is white stuff on the ground either.

 

I don't mind the cold too much.

Snow and ice don't bother me at all. It is the cold that kills me.

I don't have a problem with the snow, actually I like it when we have two or three 6+ inch snows per winter. We haven't had one of those in a while.

But the cold, especially in the mornings when you're first getting out of the house, I don't like. Particularly if it's extreme cold, like 14 degrees.

I don't like the cold. The older I get the harder it is to take the cold. As an old fellow told me one time. "Cold is 5 degrees below your age." So I'm almost 52, then it starts to feel cold at 47.

The only thing that bothers me about winter is the embarrassment I feel when I go streaking in the neighborhood.

 

Seriously, the only thing that really bothers me is the short days. I absolutely hate that it gets dark about the time I am leaving work each day. I always look forward to Dec 22 or 23 because then I know each day gets a bit longer every day.

I don't like that the snow turns all grey and gross.

That its cold..

Cold. Heating up my car. Scraping snow/ice of the windows. Shoveling the driveway.

That it only lasts 3 months. I love winter!

Another thing is my lack of sleep because I can't go to sleep when there is a college basketball game on.

Dreary days , or those real bright days with the snow shining. OR just winter there is nothing to like about it.
