What Do You Hate Most About Winter

The gas and electric bill. Lack of sunlight. Ice storms. Scraping ice and snow from the car in the morning.

Dreary days , or those real bright days with the snow shining. OR just winter there is nothing to like about it.

I do love to see snow on a bright sunny day. I also love to build a fire which I am about to do now.

Definately warming up the vehicles. I tend to get up early (not by choice) and I want as much sleep as I can get, therfore, I am usually running late and don't get a chance to warm up the vehicle leaving me shivering all the way to Richmond.

I feel your pain.

If you've got the cash, a remote starter is well worth the cost.

I get up, go to my window and hit a button on my keys and the car starts. It's wonderful :thumb:

Amen!

I hate not being able to sit outside. I get depressed by the dreary weather and the short days. I don't like having to put on jackets and sometimes a lot more, just to go out the door. I don't like being cold -- indoors or out.

The only time I (sort of) like it is when we get a big snowfall. But it can't be a paralyzer that makes it impossible to be on the roads.

I just hate winter! :madman: My favorite time of year is those first warm days of spring.

The snow and ice on the roads. I have a driveway. You can't get out of the driveway until the snow is gone, and I have to shovel it... and the next day it might all be back again...

Sounds like an Uphill Battle!!!

The only thing that bothers me about winter is the embarrassment I feel when I go streaking in the neighborhood.

Seriously, the only thing that really bothers me is the short days. I absolutely hate that it gets dark about the time I am leaving work each day. I always look forward to Dec 22 or 23 because then I know each day gets a bit longer every day.

I am given to understand that cold weather has a way of adding to the embarrassment.

Reminds me of a joke. The neighbors always complain when I go to get the morning paper in nothing but my scivvies.

And the convenience store is only a couple of blocks down the road.

Slick roads.

The fact that my occupation requires me to be outside the entire day.

The cold,it seems that the older I get the colder it is.

I hate snow, ice, COLD, driving in the snow..just everything about it.
