I don't know much about Cov Cath, but the team that beat Johnson Central in 06 was very impressive.

Bob Crable played at Moeller, Notre Dame, and then for the New York Jets.

 

Crable replaced Steve Klonne at Moeller, who replaced Coach R at McNick, then Coach R replaced Crable at Moeller and who knows who Crable will replace.

 

Funny business aside, the "Bob Crable Rumor" has been circulating around NKY for a few weeks now.

I'd say a change will be made at CCH but with respect to Brossart, he did seem to have the kids prepared for the playoffs and it seemed a lot of the criticism he received stopped once Isler got back. I think too much has happened for him to keep his job there but IMO he'll go out on a much more positive note in many CCH supporters eyes.

So is the search now officially on for a new football coach?

Not sure if you're too familiar with the situation or not, but a lot has gone on this season that led up to it.

 

I do agree though that I would have atleast waited a few days though to maybe ask the question in which you quoted.

I can't imagine that Brossart would be coming back for another season. I can see it getting really ugly if he does.

Most definitely, which makes it even more of a challenge for CCH if they don't get a high profile coach right away.

I agree. But for the record, this thread was not started by a CCH poster.

Like said above, this is where most if not all reasonable people thought CovCath would end up this year as a team. I think they should let Brossart build CovCath into his program and let the fans keep their peace. Maybe, just maybe the blame should be placed on both parties. Coaching not staying focused and letting the fans and parents into their heads and parents realizing all the Johnnys just aren't that great collectively as a group. I say keep Brossart!!!! The defensive Coordinator certainly needs to go that is for sure. They gave up more points this season than probably any other CCH team in the history of the program. They gave up 680 rushing yards last night. Are you kidding me?

 

I think you will see them come in and clean house and try to start fresh for 2010. I dont think it was a good fit from the beginning and not because Brossart is a bad coach I just found it strange he took the job.
