No, not because they play in NKy, but because they play better than Frankfort and come in with a better game plan. I personally think it will be a close and enjoyable game.

Everyone has a plan before the National Anthem is played.....

I am a little surprised to see so many thinking this game will be close. I'm from N. Ky. but and want the area teams to do well BUT .... I don't see Dayton coming within 3 TDs of Frankfort, especially in Frankfort. They have great fans there and that stadium will be packed and rocking, unlike any other place Dayton has been this year.

Read the "Everything a Rookie" thread and it will answer, any questions.

It happens so often that while one team is getting thumped, they still somehow manage to get a safety.

Crush I love it. Passion is good for football. I understand your passion for NKY football.

BTW Dayton is a solid football team. The play physical and have so playmakers on offense. Their defense is solid and don't make mistakes to beat themselves. Dayton has all the ability to win on Friday. FHS is in a dog fight.

Yea, Crush it's all fun and games on the forum, dont take it too personal. Nobody would expect you to jump to Frankfort's side.

CoachB, nobody has said it better than you, Frankfort is not unbeatable, if the players get too big headed too early, Dayton could be the better team Friday night, but I have never seen Dayton play so I can not call it. From schedules, I have notice Dayton plays 5a teams and probably in my opinion a harder schedule. Frankfort needs to focus hard on this game Friday and not look too ahead.

Panthers, this is when all your past 10 games come in hand, look back at your past 10 games and study mistakes and learn from then come out fired up Friday Night.

Good luck to both teams!

(Im still saying Frankfort 48-13) :)

Dayton has some of the most passionate fans in the game. I'm sure some of the Bellevue supporters could tell you that (they have crazy fans too). Dayton will have their fair share of support, they had a fair amount at Lynn Camp which is a whole lot farther than Frankfort.

There are no all around fans like either team lol.. If they are told to, they all get jacked up and yell and cheer with some of the best cheers ever just for fun, because all the kids in the two schools are so close it's easy to cheer for the kids you see everyday in the hallways of something like 200 hundred kids 7-12. Dayton's football team needs to realize they are the the river city kids who nobody favors or gives anything too, just like Bellevue does and come out and play like some nasty boys, (meant in a good way) and make sure the second round of the playoffs stay in NKY. :dancingpa

I'm pretty sure our city is cheering for you as is all of Nky

It's a good thing Bellevue's and Dayton's part is more polluted, so they are healthier than most. :thumb:

Dead on!Good luck to FHS!

QB is head and shoulders ahead of Frankforts QB and for that matter ours too.

Just to clarify here, did you just say that you think Dayton's QB is better than Beechwood's?

Whoa, Whoa. Let me clear up a few things.

Dayton, I have never seen film on your football team, but obviously a lot of your fans, or fellow friends seem to single out this linebacker or the quarterback, or Quan Weaver. Let me go ahead and say Friday Night when the whistle blows, it is not going to be Quan Weaver vs. Dayton, we don't just have Quan Weaver, let me tell you who all we have: We have got The Frankfort High Panthers and that is who has lead this program to a 9-1 start, probably one of the best in a couple of years. Frankfort has a great coaching staff along with many talented players.

So what if Dayton played Beechwood? They lost 0-51, that isn't something to be proud of?:jump:

Wrather Dayton is from Nothern Kentucky, Southern, Eastern, Western, South-Eastern-Western-North, no matter where they are from they are not going to out play Frankfort Friday night. And whoever it was that said they are going to have Quan Weaver ready to quit, let me go ahead and tell you Quan is in no mood to quit this week, and he's definitaly not in a mood to lose.:madman:

So Dayton can keep up the arguing :argue:, but Crush or whoever you are when you are at the game and you see that it's the second quarter and The Frankfort High Panthers not Quan Weaver is rallying your Dayton squad, I'm sure you'll be ready to :sssh:

And let's not get to humble about every Panther can out run Dayton's players with better 40's and stuff, let's just stick to good ole Nothern KY style football :p

Just to clarify real quick, I don't see too many "Dayton" people on here in the middle of the debate. Most are NKY people without a dog in the fight backing Dayton...

Just to clarify here, did you just say that you think Dayton's QB is better than Beechwood's?

Yes, that's what I said.

First, never said anything about Quan ready to quit, What I said was last year we had EJ fields ready to quit , walked off field twice had to be sent back in. And why would FHS "rally" Dayton did you mean beat , thrash something along those lines?

I have heard all this bravado before, your schooling me on nothing, nada, zip. I just hope you all can live up to your claims, this time!:bunny:
